Our Story
api888 was founded in 2016 with a single, clear conviction: Indonesian players deserve a betting and casino platform built specifically for them — one that speaks their language, accepts their preferred banks, and respects their culture. At the time, most international platforms treated Indonesia as an afterthought, offering awkward currency conversions, slow support channels, and game libraries that barely acknowledged the local market. api888 set out to change that from day one.
Starting with a focused sports-betting product centered on BRI Liga 1 and the English Premier League, api888 quickly earned a reputation for competitive odds, fast payouts, and a customer service team that actually picks up within minutes. Word spread across Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, and beyond — not through aggressive advertising alone, but through the kind of organic trust that only comes when a platform consistently delivers on its promises. Within two years of launch, api888 had grown to serve hundreds of thousands of registered members across the Indonesian archipelago.
Today, api888 is one of Indonesia's leading online entertainment destinations, offering an extensive portfolio that includes sports betting — covering everything from BRI Liga 1 and Champions League to bandar bola (football bookmaker) markets with Asian handicap, mix parlay (accumulator) bets, and live in-play wagering — as well as live dealer casino games, video slots, lottery products including togel (Indonesia's traditional numbers lottery), and much more. Our platform supports deposits and withdrawals via BCA, BRI, BNI, Mandiri, CIMB Niaga, and leading e-wallets including OVO, DANA, and GoPay, ensuring every Indonesian player can transact with ease and confidence.
What sets api888 apart from the competition is not just the breadth of our product offering but the depth of our commitment to player safety and fairness. We operate under internationally recognized gaming standards, employing certified Random Number Generators (RNG), independent game audits, and 256-bit SSL encryption across every transaction. Our responsible gaming framework gives players meaningful tools — deposit limits, session reminders, self-exclusion — because we believe a sustainable entertainment platform is one that puts player wellbeing first. We encourage every member to read our Responsible Gaming guidelines, and we maintain strict 21+ age verification at all stages of onboarding.
Over the years, api888 has continually reinvested in technology and talent. Our platform is engineered for speed and stability, handling peak traffic during marquee fixtures — think Timnas Indonesia (Garuda) at the AFF Cup, or the final matchday of BRI Liga 1 — without lag, downtime, or missed bets. Our mobile experience is optimized for the Android and iOS devices most popular among Indonesian users, and our interface is available in Bahasa Indonesia for players who prefer it, even though the platform's official content language is English. Our support team operates in WIB (Western Indonesia Time) and responds to live chat inquiries in an average of under two minutes.
Looking ahead, api888 remains focused on deepening its roots in the Indonesian market. We plan to expand our e-sports offering — covering Mobile Legends MPL, PUBG Mobile, and Free Fire tournaments that resonate deeply with younger Indonesian bettors — while enhancing our live streaming partnerships for football and badminton (Indonesia's most celebrated Olympic sport). Every product decision at api888 starts with the same question: does this serve our Indonesian players better? That question has guided us for eight-plus years, and it will continue to guide everything we build next.
Our Mission

What Makes api888 Different
Built for Indonesia
Every feature at api888 is designed with Indonesian players in mind — local bank integrations with BCA, BRI, BNI, and Mandiri; IDR (Rp) currency throughout; Bahasa Indonesia customer support; and game schedules calibrated to WIB time zones.
Bank-Grade Security
api888 uses 256-bit SSL encryption on every connection, two-factor authentication for account access, and segregated fund management so player balances are always protected — the same security architecture trusted by Indonesia's leading fintech platforms.
Fast Withdrawals
Verified api888 members receive withdrawals in as little as 15 minutes. We process transactions 24 hours a day, seven days a week — including during Lebaran and Indonesian public holidays — because we know players shouldn't have to wait for their winnings.
Provably Fair Games
All casino products at api888 are powered by independently audited, certified game providers. Our RNG certification ensures every spin, card draw, and dice roll is mathematically random and cannot be influenced by the house or any third party.
Responsible Gaming First
api888 enforces strict 21+ age verification and provides every player with deposit limits, session time-out options, and self-exclusion tools. We partner with professional counseling services and believe player wellbeing always comes before revenue.
24/7 Human Support
Our Indonesian-speaking support team is available around the clock via live chat and email. We do not use scripted chatbots for complex issues — every significant query is handled by a trained human agent who understands the Indonesian gaming context.
